46cm Hole in Her Cell by Fantastic Twins

What can we say; Berlin has done it again. Fantastic Twins’ 46cm Hole in Her Cell uses elements of minimal techno to create an extremely hard-hitting beat machine, but they sprinkle a few more layers on top to add in some melodic interest. Like any good techno record, this one brings out your inner animal, reducing your entire being to mere movement as your heartbeat, breathing, and thought pattern sync up to the hypnotic beat. Straight-up dance music often takes shit for having these qualities, with more complicated dance music going as far as to label  itself “intelligent dance music,” but there’s such immense artistic value in producing something that puts people in a meditative state of dance. As far as we’re concerned, this one’s a certified club banger.
