From our contributions to climate change to haunting scenes from our childhood, from noisy nights in the city to the slow erosion of time, all manner of stressors and aggressors adorn the stories on this album, all while simultaneously crafting a sonic environment so warm and cozy as to further divide the Little Kid we hear from the band’s lyrical mirror image. Once the discomfort becomes home to us, we finally find places to rest among these daily interactions that shake us so severely, allowing for the closest thing we will ever experience to contentment.
