This 9-minute nonstop party showcases playful, celebratory lyrics while speaking to the significance of Black hairstyles and their connection to personal freedom and expression. The undeniable house influence framing each track guarantees Bundles to be super danceable from start to finish.

Destiny by DJ Sabrina the Teenage DJ

Once you’ve heard DJ Sabrina the Teenage DJ, you can’t go back to life before. This project boasts 41 tracks packed with feelgood summer bangers, with nonstop sampling elevating its storytelling. The album goes through several arcs with 4-6 song chunks flowing together and the way each movement builds is remarkable, transforming from soft indie dance to full techno electronica as the intensity mounts. This thing is a behemoth and it’s tricky to describe in just a few sentences so it’s highly recommended you give it a listen, ideally while driving along the pacific coast with the top down.

R.O.T.T. (inmyskin) by Bestial Mouths

ROTT inmyskin by bestial mouths album cover

Bestial Mouths returns to their darkwave electronica throne with R.O.T.T. (inmyskin). The album is ominous and pained with heartbreaking and poetic lyrics that pair perfectly with the dark, industrial instrumentals. The Sacramento-based group also features a strong aesthetic image that communicates the gritty vulnerability of this release. If you find traditional industrial synthwave amusing but cheesy, this atmospheric plunge into doom pop may be a good compromise for you.

NAPOLITANKE by Spyridia Forum

Spyridia Forum takes its first steps into the world with the energetic and well-rounded NAPOLITANKE. The album opens with a gentle and pleasant instrumental track that sounds like it came directly from the Minecraft soundtrack before diving into glittery, glitchy electronica. The project meanders between a variety of electronic genres throughout its concise run, covering a lot of ground while remaining cohesive and upbeat.
