First up, we’re spinning Her Cold Materials by Phantom Winter. Pulling in religious musical motifs and phantasy elements to set the mood, this band sends you on an epic quest of blackened doom.
Global Worming by Endseeker
Next up, we’re moving up a few tempo clicks to Global Worming by Endseeker. This thrashy death metal record would win fans over from both punk and metal crowds, using its DIY energy and raw tone to add life to its deathly focus on heaviness and technicality.
Militant Minority by Kill the Con Man
For those of you more inclined to incite a revolution, Kill the Con Man’s new record Militant Minority has your back. With that classic grindcore sound and searingly conscious lyrics, this record encourages us to take action in our community and blast some kick ass music while doing it.
Carrion Angel by Cerulean
Finally, Cerulean’s new record Carrion Angel brings us back to death metal but with a distinct dissonant flair. Somewhat mathy technique here really sets this record apart, and the constant return to off-kilter chords and intervals will have the hair sticking up on the back of your neck.
