Public Humiliation by Sissy XO

Public Humiliation by Sissy XO

We hear plenty of pissed off music every week here at Outside Noise, but even with this hasty emotion an eye for production and songwriting still elevate the emotional impact of an album immensely. PUBLIC HUMILIATION by SISSY XO launches an all-out assault on our inner peace, cleverly selecting elements of their cybergrind sound to cut clearly through the mix while other components fade into lo fi fuzz. Guitar riffs sporadically fly off the handle, spinning into mind-bending lead lines and solos all while an imposing wall of percussion and bass bear down on the rest of the track. With direct, unfiltered lyrics that massively amplify the anger within Public Humiliation, SISSY XO crafts a breakup record that paints a horrifying picture of a shell of a life left vacant of all joy and meaning. Methodically collecting all of this grief and dramatically ejecting it in a cathartic gamma ray, these thirty minutes of pure musical intensity provide an emergency exit for all of our negativity.
