The Problem is in the Sender - Do Not Tamper with the Receiver by Hypnodrone Ensemble

From deep within a cold, churning sea of atmospheric krautrock, a distress signal wails, dissipating into a cloudless night sky without reaching a single soul. The Problem Is in the Sender - Do Not Tamper with the Receiver by Hypnodrone Ensemble puts a rare heavy dose of emotion into their space rock sound, contrasting their hypnotically flowing, infinitely layered drones with abstract, unhinged vocals, a combination that suffocates us in our own solitude. Bass and drums lock in on droning, repetitive, yet unmistakably human rhythms, acting as a foundation for the bizarre guitar work that lies above. Utilizing tape effects, heavy signal processing, and post production chopping and screwing, the guitars flood the middle frequencies with a sloshing ocean of organic drone, a sea with emotional tides but an unforgiving, constant vastness that ultimately dwarfs all individual agency. Sucked into this endless whirlpool, we cry out in sympathy with the anguished vocalist, wailing in futile protest against the essential loneliness of our internal worlds.
